A) Information you provide directly
- Account details created via OAuth (see below).
- Support requests or other messages you send us.
- Billing details necessary to complete a purchase (processed primarily by Stripe).
B) Information from sign-in with Google (OAuth)
When you sign up/sign in with Google, we receive the information you authorize Google to provide— typically your name, email address, and (if permitted) your profile image. We also receive authentication tokens to operate sign-in and keep your session active. You can revoke access in your Google account settings.
C) Information collected automatically
- Server logs & device data: IP address, browser type/version, OS, date/time, and pages/features you access.
- Cookies/local storage: Strictly necessary only (session and CSRF) for sign-in and security. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
D) Payments (via Stripe)
We use Stripe to process payments and do not store full card numbers. We may receive limited payment information (e.g., method type, last four digits, expiration, billing ZIP, transaction ID, status) for records, fraud prevention, and support.
E) Information from third parties
Beyond Google OAuth and Stripe, we do not use analytics platforms, advertising networks, email/SMS marketing services, or customer-support tools at this time.
3) Why we use your information
- Provide and maintain the Service and your account (including Google OAuth sign-in).
- Process transactions and provide receipts and customer support.
- Secure the Service, prevent abuse, detect fraud, and diagnose issues.
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
5) Third-party service providers
We share information with providers who help us operate the Service:
- Authentication: Google OAuth (account creation/sign-in).
- Payments: Stripe (payment processing and fraud prevention).
- Hosting/Infrastructure: providers we use to host and deliver the Service (limited access as needed).
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7) Data retention
We retain personal information for one (1) year from your last interaction with the Service, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve disputes and enforce agreements. We may anonymize information and retain it for security purposes.
8) Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your information, and to request data portability or object in some cases. To exercise rights, email crossedcomputing@gmail.com. We may verify your identity.
For U.S. state privacy laws: we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. You may still contact us to submit access, correction, or deletion requests or to appeal a decision. EEA/UK users may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
